What Is FrontWars.IO?

FrontWars.IO is a real-time strategy game that provides players with an opportunity to expand their influence over different territories and armies. The game starts with small pieces of land and allows players to construct their bases and lead their armies in attacks against the enemy territories.

The land keeps changing as players capture different areas. Acquiring a larger territory means getting more chances to expand, but spreading your armies too thin means risking your empire.

The ultimate purpose of the game is clear: destroy the enemy bases and be the last empire standing.

How To Play FrontWars.IO

The core of FrontWars.IO gameplay rests on four pivotal actions: troop movements, territory expansion, improvement of defense mechanisms and establishing and maintaining relations with other players.

Moving Troops

In order to move your troops, you need to click on any of your territories and drag the arrow to your target. This feature allows sending troops to neutral territories, help your troops in another territory, or directly attack enemy territory.

Establishing an Empire

To establish an empire, you need to capture territories and take them to further develop your army. More territories provide better opportunities for your empire. However, it also means you need to protect more borders.

Developing Infrastructure

The next move is to select a territory to build infrastructure or upgrade. By doing so, you increase your ability to develop, hold on to important territories, and deny opportunities to your enemies.

Build and Upgrade

Choose one of your territories and begin building or upgrading something, making your empire even stronger and getting better opportunities for its development.

Manage Other Players

Diplomacy is as important as military power when it comes to making the perfect empire. To send an alliance request, click a player's name in the Event Panel.

Alliances are a way to protect yourself from powerful opponents as well as to create a short-term chance for expansion. However, don’t forget that alliances do not last forever. When players want to grab more land, they may decide to break their agreements with you.

Protect your territory: Never leave an important area unguarded.
Use the correct method to expand your empire. Try to obtain more than just shabby lands.
Keep track of the event board: It is important to follow other players' actions.
Make appropriate use of retreating: This will help you save your men for more military campaigns.
Enhance the key region and take pains to improve it.
As you work on your connections, remember to be careful. Some relations might provide a benefit, but there is a risk of being betrayed.
Fight against weaker opponents. Look for opportunities to attack them when they are busy with something else.
