Overview of Steel Legion
Steel Legion is a 2D physics tank battle game in which you will control a powerful tank and battle your way through some very tough hilly terrain. Your goal is to outwit and outgun every tank that dares to stand in your way!
You'll start out in the Cobra Tank, your first tank choice as an all rounded and highly maneuverable war machine great for beginners. Along the way you will unlock tanks that offer advanced stats and weapon loadouts and the opportunity to configure your strategy for maximum dominance on the battlefield.
How to Play Steel Legion
The first step to winning in Steel Legion is getting comfortable with the controls. Here’s how to play the game:
- Move Your Tank: Use the A/D keys or left/right arrow keys to move throughout the hills.
- Fire Your Weapon: You shoot by pressing the Spacebar. Be calculated when you shoot and angle your cannon accordingly to hit any units moving towards you.
- Repair Your Tank: In battles, you’ll restore your tank health by pressing B. Use caution, because repairing takes time and you may not be able to escape damage.
Gameplay Features
- Terrain Dynamics Combat: From rolling hills to steep slopes, you'll kill your enemies as you use the terrain to your advantage from cover or high ground attack.
- Realistic Physics Shooting: Aim, shoot and consider gravity along with the tilt of the terrain. Experience artillery based combat that demands skill.
- Tank Customization: Upgrade your tank with improved armor, weapon systems, and speed. Customize your tank to fit your sensory playstyle.
- Variety of Game Modes & Maps: Play through solo missions, time trials, survival mode across a number of different maps or trade shots with your early game tank vs a friend in a battle mode across several different maps that we designed nicely.
- Epic Tank Battles: Face increasingly difficult waves of enemy tanks, each smarter and tougher than the last.
Unlock New and Powerful Tanks & Weapons
As you defeat enemies and complete missions, you’ll earn rewards to unlock a wide array of tanks! There are heavy armor bullies and light, fast-behind-scout tanks. Each tank serves as a way of playing this game differently. Try out some of the upgrades including powerful turret choices, explosive shells, and special abilities.
