Taming.io is an action-RPG multiplayer survival game that allows you to explore, build, and fight with a magical pet at your side for free. This game was made by LapaMauve in November 2020. Taming.io combines base-building, resource gathering, and intense PvP combat to create one unforgettable experience.
Taming.io drops players into the wilderness armed with nothing but the player's first pet companion. Players slowly gather resources and kill enemies, making them stronger, better upgrades, and new pets they can tame to fight by their side.
From building a base with turrets and deadly traps to sending out rare pets to create your elite squad, each choice you make matters.
Once you enter the game, you select your starter pet. Each pet has their base stats and abilities, such as healing, melee damage, or ranged attacks. Your pet will attack on your behalf and level up as you level up.
Chop down trees, mine stone, and gather food. As the materials' value increases, so does your character's "age" (level up), which unlocks new recipes to craft new items, stronger weapons, better armor, and healing items.
With the resources collected, craft various items and start building your base. Start small with simple structures such as walls and doors, and once unlocked, upgrade to defenses that include turrets and spike traps to defend your fort from other players and wild animals.
As your power becomes stronger, you have the opportunity to tame more powerful and rarer pets. You can craft a Taming Wand, weaken a wild animal during battle, and once weakened, use the Taming Wand to tame and recruit that wild animal to your team.
